Creating a New Folder

You may create new folders, provided that you have sufficient permissions.

Use one of the file browsers to find the folder in which you wish to create a new sub-folder.  Then click the "New Folder" button beneath that browser.  You will be presented with a dialog box asking you to name the folder.  Click "Okay" to create the folder

Confirmations or errors will be displayed in the message box at the bottom of the window.

Object Handlers

Object handlers may implement the new folder function differently, or not at all.  For example, as of this writing, the CloudDat gateway for Amazon S3 does nothing and returns success as folders do not exist in S3 and are not required for the creation of pseudo-paths.
