About

CloudDat for AWS is an EC2 hosted accelerated file transfer gateway that lets you upload and download files and objects at up to 5 gigabits per second per object from anywhere in the world.  The fastest way to get started is to launch it from AWS Marketplace using CloudFormation.  Choose the "CloudDat Hourly" option for a 7-day free trial.  Contact us with any questions.

CloudDat is not a service: you fully control the EC2 instance and storage.  We never touch your data, giving you maximum security and control.  Setup takes just a few minutes and easy-to-use clients can be downloaded directly from the instance.

PRICING OPTIONS

Deploy from AWS Marketplace for hourly billing, with big discounts for monthly and annual subscriptions.  Buy directly from Data Expedition, Inc. for a one-time fee and receive a perpetual license plus a year of support and updates.  We don’t charge for the amount of data or the speed of your line, so you can upload terabytes of data for just a few dollars.

SETUP

AWS Marketplace subscriptions provide a pre-installed Amazon Machine Image and a Cloud Formation template that takes just minutes to configure and launch on EC2.  Perpetual licenses can run on any new or existing EC2 instances and install with a small download and a configuration script that takes just a minute to run.  Once installed, simply download a client and start moving your data.

AWS MARKETPLACE

CloudDat Hourly and CloudDat Monthly Marketplace subscriptions support up to 4 active transfers at a time.  CloudDat Monthly High Capacity supports up to 32 active transfers at a time.  Perpetual licenses can support 32 at a time or more.  Because you control the EC2 instances, you decide when CloudDat runs and what instance size to use.  With AWS Marketplace, you can start and stop multiple instances as your needs change and pay only for what’s running.  With CloudDat Monthly and Monthly High Capacity, you receive big discounts on the cost per instance.
