Multitasking
While a file is transferring, you may continue to browse, perform maintenance operations, and request additional transfers. You can even change servers and authentication without disrupting the transfer in progress.
Since MTP/IP does not need to multiplex transactions in order to achieve maximum performance, only one transfer will be performed at a time. Additional transfers will be queued and executed in the order requested. The name of the current transfer and the number queued behind it will be listed at the bottom of the window.
If you choose to transfer an entire directory tree, a transaction will be queued for each of its enclosed files. This may result in many thousands of transfers being queued at once.
Click the "Stop" button to cancel the current operation or clear the queue.
